Congratulations to our Grand Champions and Runner-ups. The Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair in May 2020 in Anaheim, CA has been canceled but all ISEF students will be receiving recognition from ISEF for their achievements.

Broadcom MASTERS

Broadcom MASTERS for 2020 opened up the opportunity for RGV RSEF participating students to apply for possible additional awards. The 2020 Broadcom MASTERS was open to all 6th, 7th, or 8th grade students that were registered to participate in a Broadcom MASTERS affiliated fair that academic year.


Welcome, Nominees! Congratulations on the selection of your science fair project as one of the top 10% nationwide. Complete this application in order to be considered for additional awards. All students who enter will receive a Broadcom MASTERS t-shirt and bumper sticker, plus will be entered in a drawing to win other cool prizes like swag packages and Raspberry Pis. Plus, just by OPENING your application, you'll receive a set of digital STEM stickers! Students must use the information on their packet to apply.

Awards for 60th RGV Regional Science and Engineering Fair hosted February 15, 2020 by UT-RGV at the Brownsville Campus.

Other special awards presented (students not present for photos) include the:

  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) award in the area of environmental science and environmental engineering;

  • National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration for projects in NOAA-related science, service and stewardship;

  • Office of Naval Research U.S. Navy/ U.S. Marine Corps Award;

  • U. S. Agency for International Development (USAID);

  • U. S. Metric Association Award for best use of the metric system; and

  • Yale Science and Engineering Association for the top project from the categories of Computer Science, Engineering Physics or Chemistry.
